Post-First Communion Pathways

- Learn with Us
  - Baptism Preparation
  - Post-Baptism through Kindergarten

  - Family Faith Formation (through grade 7)
    
    Entering Family Faith Formation (typically Gr 1)
    Sacramental Preparation: First Reconciliation & First Communion (typically Gr. 2)
    Post-First Communion Family Faith Formation (typically Gr. 3+)
  - Sacramental Preparation: Confirmation
    
    Sacramental Preparation: Confirmation (typically Grades 8 & up)

There are two possible pathways for families with children who have already participated in MEND and NOURISH and celebrated First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. For families who have not yet participated in ROOT, please choose that pathway. For families who have already participated in ROOT, please scroll down for your pathway - WONDER!
This is the pathway for families that have a child who has already celebrated First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. These are families who typically have a child in the third grade or higher (through grade 7), though not always! Your whole family (yes even younger and older children!) participate together in an at-church activity once a month. Between monthly at-church meetings, parents are asked to lead one or more faith-based activities at home. The materials we are using are called ROOT. We will also offer family activities for Advent and Lent.
Families on this pathway will select one of two teams to join.
- Pathfinders: 1 Sunday/month, 9:30-11:00 a.m. (Cohasset)
- Holy Hikers: 1 Wednesday/month, 5:30-7:00 p.m. (Cohasset)
Saint Anthony of Padua Parish and Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish strive to be a community of families growing in faith together. We are at different places in our spiritual lives, but disciples are formed when we are on the journey together. We want to have adults and children learning about the same topic in their own way and help give parents language to share faith with their children. Faith formation is lifelong!

Root Teams: Meeting Dates, Times & Locations

- Way Makers: 1 Thursday/month, 5:30-7:00 p.m. (Hull)
